Description

The communication networks play a vital role in the ecosystem of metaverse. Meanwhile, the metaverse poses great challenge in the evolution of wired and wireless networks, mainly due to the requirements of ubiquitous high-bandwidth, low-latency communications and the support for new user equipment and services. However, there is still limited research on understanding the technical challenges and opportunities in network architecture and communication technologies for enhancing the performance of metaverse. The Networking and Communications track is calling for papers in wired and wireless networks and the enabling networking and communications technologies for metaverse.
